Anejo Grille

It is such a unique place. Everything is painted with bright, vibrant colors and doesn’t look much from the outside from the inside. It is amazing. The food is excellent. Customer service is very good. Food comes out promptly, saving you time, and the bill was more than reasonable. Ice-cold beer—this is authentic Mexican food; you can't go wrong with whatever you choose.

This place is legit! The wife and I stopped in today after a great hike at Miller Trek trail. We got our tacos El pastor to go as we were on our way back to our cabin in Murphy. The food had cooled down during the half hour drive, but that didn't take away from the deliciousness of it. The serving sizes were generous and the food tasted great. I'll definitely give them another go if I'm back in the area!

I seriously love this place. I grew up in Colorado, land of the TexMex and also used to live in Mexico and have to admit that this is darn good for being in the armpit of North Carolina. The service is always awesome with friendly staff, the food is consistently tasty with complimentary chips and salsa and the music is even pretty decent! Not the best wine, but who comes for that?? Photo of my friends medium margarita that she couldn't finish while walking out with a decent buzz. Always open, always convenient and always amazing. Today had the huevis rancheros and though it isn't the southwestern style, they are still very good.

Your typical Mexican restaurant! Awesome waitress. Food was great and so was our margarita pitcher! Would definitely eat here again!

All I can say is wow!! I’ve had takeout with friends mostly their chicken soup which is great but today was my first dining in experience. First of all let me say this is not you typical Mexican restaurant. Not by a longshot! I had their only shrimp dish and boy was it fantastic. I live in a city with shrimp docks so I am used to good shrimp and this was as good. I ordered it with grilled onions and cheese. Sorry I don’t know the dish name but it was in Spanish. It came with rice and salad. Oh, and chips and salsa hit the table almost as quick as I sat down. Service was very good as well. I spent twenty bucks for lunch and it was worth every penny. I’m looking to trying something else on my next visit.

We got the fajita taco salad and burrito pepito. They were very good. Monday night dinner and was seated immediately. Server was attentive and everyone was kind. Also the free salsa and chips were good and not too spicy.

excellent service, plentiful portions, and salsa with just the right amount of spice. ourselves kept our drink glasses filled without being asked, and brought take-home boxes when we were sufficiently stuffed. if you haven't tried Aneho Grille, you are missing out!
